I ordered 3 different chicks and they actually gave me one extra of these! I had originally been planning on making this cross down the road. But the fact they offered F2/F3 olive eggers was very exciting and in such a beautiful color and cross (lavender Ameraucana x lavender Maran) I know they are unsexed but was really hoping I get a female for this. Chances have increased now that I have two! Really appreciate the extra chuck! One was smaller arriving from post office (I tried to shop as locally as possible) and also a bit more lethargic. They perked right up once I got them under heat. I’m really excited to see if they turn out to be cockerel or pullets.

Wanted to wait until my ladies started laying to share as accurate review as possible. Beautiful olive egg (Black Copper Marans egg also from FLF) Temperament is outstanding on all birds received. I ordered on a whim after placing a Meyers hatchery order the same time frame. This is my first flock and chicken math got me. I’m pleased with all birds but you do see the quality of FLF. These really are truly beautiful birds. Watching all birds including some from a local supplier I would say that Feather lover Farms temperament of birds are very sweet and docile. My Black Cooper Marans Barb being my favorite. I did receive 2 fellas but they were easy to give away. I was soo tempted to keep my olive egger rooster as he seemed like he would end up making a fine gentleman for the ladies and protector but due to spacing decided to part ways. I will make sure I order from FLF though if a rooster is needed in the future. All chicks survived with priority shipping and I was given some fillers as well which ended up being my two roosters I removed. Thank you for the quality of birds. It’s very clear to me the work with these lines

This is my second order from FLF. My first order i ordered a Ayam cemani, A lavender zombi chick and 3 mystery chicks. Sadly my only Ayam Cemani was DOA, and their extra one they sent passed a few hours later. It happens:(
They refunded me for the Ayam. So i put that towards another order! So i ordered another Lavender zombie chick a lavender Olive Egger and one more surprise chick! I had ordered 3 new chicks and 7 arrived!!! All healthy and adorable. From the first batch and now the second batch i have NO idea what mystery and extra chicks are that i have. Which is super fun. But its killing me! I gotta know! Sent them an email for help on what they sent, but they havnt replied. Im sure they are really busy though because they usually respond really fast. They were really great to work with. I will absolutely order again. But PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I HAVE!!! Lol! Thanks again FLF! I will still get my Ayam Cemani one day!

FLF outdid themselves! I was SO worried because usps is kind of awful and took forever to ge my chicks to the correct post office. They were in shipment for 3.5 days and all arrived thriving! They even threw in an extra for me! They packaged the babies so well I am still amazed. They also respond very quickly.. within an hour usually as asked a few questions. While mine are still babies I won’t know what their eggs look like for a while still.. I would recommend again and again.

I actually didn’t end up getting the lavender olive egg layers because of decline in production, which was frustrating at first, but after some communication they made it right and swapped out the birds for a few different breeds, and upgraded the shipping because of the colder weather. They were a wedding gift and the couple couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

So far they are thriving.
Now I just worry about the sex. I tend to get to close to my chicks and chickens and hoping the majority are female.

I was very nervous having them shipped to me we did the expedited shipping and received them in 2 days.
