One of the prettiest and rarest imported English Orpington colors available.

English Orpingtons were created in the early 1800’s by William Cook and were in huge demand due to their impressive year round egg laying capabilities and impressive meat quality. The first color developed was all black, followed by white, buff and then William Cook created the Diamond Jubilee Orpington and gifted a flock of them to the reigning Queen Victory of the British Monarchy. English Orpingtons were a huge success.

This breed of chicken is absolutely gigantic! For those who have never owned the Imported English Orpington breed, the Males weigh around 13-15+lbs as adults and females are around 10-12+lbs. The Silver Laced English Imported Orpington is the rarest color variety available and the most sought after in this breed.

We purchased our stock directly from Ewe Crazy Farms and Greenfire Farms and have been selectively breeding our adults for crisp silver lacing as well as the largest sized birds possible. You will get healthy genetic diversity buying chicks from us since we will send you chicks from both bloodlines.

Maximum Order: Because this breed is extremely rare, a maximum of 6 can be ordered at a time. We encourage you to mix and match other breeds. 

When Your Birds Ship: You will receive an automatic email and text message when your chicks ship along with tracking info. Juvenile 6-10 week old birds usually arrive in the morning 1-2 days later and your local Post Office will call you for pickup. Live birds are never delivered to your home address, even if you used a home address for your shipping address.
